Hi Room 3
It's the end of term next week and what an awesome term we have had.
Next week (Wednesday) we will be having a shared lunch to welcome our new class members as well as to celebrate our learning successes.

Hi there Room 3
This week we have been creative.
 We have designed, paper mached, painted, sculpted and decorated our masks. The masks were designed using animals from different countries. Each person had a country and chose an animal from that country.
Hope you all can make it to see our display on Wednesday and Thursday night.


Well done to Brad for getting Best Overall for the Under 8s Rugby League team. Awesome effort. I have seen a few rugby and league games and Room 3 has some talented players in both codes.

We hope you are having a great time in Australia.
What have you been doing? What animals have you seen?
We have been learning about the Olympic Games, we know that you compete against others. That the Games are being held in London. And we know that the olympic rings are really important to the games.
The mascots names are Wenlock and Mandeville, if you would like to watch the films on it go to youtube and look for olympic games mascots no 1 and 2.
We hope you have a great time your holiday and come back to us safe.

Correction : Tuesday we will be paper macheing our face masks and Wednesday will be Science day.

Well Room 3 only a week to go until the school holidays, where has that time gone?

This week we have some fun things happening.

Tuesday is Science day - I know how much everyone enjoyed the last science day. I can't wait either.


Wednesday we will be beginning our paper mache face masks. If anyone has any spare newspaper at home please bring it to school to use on our amasing masks.

What a fantastic week we have had.
We have made Harold puppets, some people have been working out compatible numbers, others have been looking at solving an addition problem when one number is missing.
Here are some problems we can solve:
5+4+5+6+7-10-5
and
6+ ----= 13.
Can we make up some other equations to show mum and dad how well we are doing.
