I went to watch the league on the weekend and what did I see?
Jimmy, turned around quickly ready to defend
Campbell, passing off.
Good job boys I can't wait to see more games and get some pics of Ben, Carlos, Austin and Jack.
My next trip will be to the rugby to catch the girls in action.
Welcome to a new week.
This week we will be learning about all the words that begin with the wh sound.
Here are some I have thought of from our questioning - where, what, who.
How many others can you think of? Can you use them in a sentence?
Mathletician of the week for last week is ...
Maia
fantastic effort Maia, you are becoming a maths whizz. Keep up the good work.

What a fantastic week we have had.
We have made Harold puppets, some people have been working out compatible numbers, others have been looking at solving an addition problem when one number is missing.
Here are some problems we can solve:
5+4+5+6+7-10-5
and
6+ ----= 13.
Can we make up some other equations to show mum and dad how well we are doing.
There is someone in our class who has reached 100 nights reading
Well done again to Frankie
And the person who is Mathletician of the week is
Frankie Wow Frankie you are working hard at your learning.

This week we are looking at the ch sound at the beginning and end of words. It just so happens that there is a ch in chocolate yum yum.
There is also a ch in beach - a favourite place of lots of people.
What other words have a ch in - can you find some?
Wow there are some fabulous mathematicians in Room 3. We are learning our basic facts to 10.
Who will be the 'Make the sum wizard' in hotspot time?
Who has been practising thier basic facts at home?
